Group Therapy Sessions

What to Expect in a Group Art Therapy Session

In our group art therapy sessions, you’ll experience a collaborative and creative environment designed to foster healing through art. Our sessions combine creative expression with meaningful conversation, offering participants a chance to explore their emotions while being part of a supportive group.

  • First Session: The first group session will introduce you to the therapeutic process, helping you get comfortable in the group setting while focusing on your personal goals. You'll work alongside others, creating art as part of your journey.

  • Ongoing Sessions: Each session is tailored to the group’s needs, with a balance of creative activities and discussions designed to help you process emotions and share experiences with others. Together, you’ll explore new techniques and build connections that promote personal growth and healing.

The relationship between you, the therapist, and the group is based on trust, respect, and shared exploration. As trained art therapists, we’ll guide the group using a variety of creative methods to ensure each person’s needs are met.

It’s normal to feel unsure or nervous before your first session, but we encourage you to approach it with an open heart and mind. Come ready to engage in creative activities and explore your personal goals in a supportive group environment. Please complete the intake paperwork in our client portal and feel free to share anything that will help us support you better.
